New footage shows a serial mugger hold a knife to the neck of a store clerk in one of the fifteen attacks he carried out last month – with the violent robber still on the loose.

Police say they need help apprehending a robber who is on a ‘disturbing’ robbery spree in Manhattan where he has mugged 11 people and held up four stores across the borough since October 9.

They have released grabs of the previous attacks in a bid to track the robber down.

The robber’s MO is flashing a knife, demanding money and sometimes holding the knife to victim’s necks and using physical force, NYPD Chief of Detectives James Essig said.

Police released security footage of the crook in action, holding up a smoke shop in Hells Kitchen on October 10.

Dressed in all-black, he is captured walking into the store, pointing a knife to the clerk’s head and placing it under his neck as he follows him behind the counter.

Police say the clerk ended up handing him $580 before the robber struck him in the face with the knife handle and cutting his lip, the New York Daily News reported.

The robber then fled the scene on a black scooter.

‘We want to catch this guy before something worse happens,’ Essig said. ‘Somebody has to know him. We have to take this guy off the streets,’ Essig said.

Police are describing the suspect as a dark-skinned-male somewhere between 20-30 years old, five-foot-eight and weighing between 140-160 pounds.

The unidentified robber’s spree includes attempting to rob a 71-year-old man in the street on October 24, placing a knife to the neck of a 50-year-old man and getting away with $40 on October 25.

He also placed a knife to the neck of a 57-year-old man and forcibly removing $80 off of him before running off and displaying a knife to a female cashier at a Manhattan Dunkin Donuts before taking off with $1,200 on Halloween, police said.

The robbing spree comes as overall crime in the city rose 11.2 percent last month compared with October 2020.

In that time frame robbery also rose 15.8 percent and felony assault rose by 13.8 percent.

The spike in overall lawlessness comes as the city grapples with an increase in visible, violent crime, including horrific subway and street attacks that have left New Yorkers terrified.

On Monday at around 10pm, a man wearing a grinning mask inspired by the film The Purge attacked a stranger on the street with an ax. The 51-year-old victim was taken to a nearby hospital with a deep cut in his arm.

On Saturday morning, a man threw a Molotov cocktail into a Brooklyn bodega after an argument with employees. The workers escaped as the arsonist was about to throw a second one, but he was stopped by a witness.

Mayor-elect Eric Adams recently made a dig at outgoing Bill de Blasio by vowing to ‘get stuff done’ while in office.

The former NYPD officer said his first 100 days in office would focus on crime, from revamping the controversial plainclothes anti-crime unit to addressing the crisis at the Rikers jail complex.

Adams, a centrist, ran on the promise to curb the city’s steadily rising crime rate.

‘I am not going to be a philosophical mayor,’ Adams told MSNBC, taking a jab at outgoing Mayor Bill de Blasio.

‘I’m going to be a mayor that’s going to be a G.S.D. mayor, ‘get stuff done.”
