This is the shocking dashcam footage of a teenager ramming his car into police officers as they tried to arrest him following a high speed chase.
Ramone Kidd tried to crush Sergeant Chris Schultze against roadside barriers as other officers attempted to drag the tear-away driver from the vehicle.
At one point an officer jumps on the bonnet of the Kia and repeatedly smashes the 19-year-old’s front windscreen.
Officers had chased the suspect in a stolen vehicle which was linked to a burglary eight days earlier.
Two police cars tried to push the speeding car off the road, in a special ‘box’ manoeuvre, before all three of the vehicles crashed into each other as they swerved across the A22 carriageway near Godstone, Surrey in the early hours of the morning on June 13.
Kidd’s blue vehicle then spins round and faces the wrong direction before coming to a stop agsinst the central reservation.
As the joy-rider continues to try and get away officers got out on foot amd lept on the front and started smashing the windscreen with a baton.
Despite being cornered, Kidd made a last ditch attempt to get away by driving at Sgt Schultze and trapped him between the car and the road barriers.
Sgt Schultze, who was on the passenger side of Kidd’s car, ran around to the driver’s side when the car suddenly accelerated into him, forcing him against barriers and nearly crushing him.

After Sgt Schultze was sent flying into the bushes, two of his colleagues carried on smashing at the car’s other windows until Kidd was stopped.
Kidd, of Sutton, south London, was handed a 23-month prison sentence at Guildford Crown Court after he admitted dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, driving while unfit through drink or drugs and actual bodily harm.
He was also disqualified from driving for three years.
Detective Sergeant Kerry Akehurst, of Surrey Police said: “I would firstly like to echo what His Honour Judge Moss said around the professionalism of the officers involved in the incident.
“The role of a police officer is to protect the public, and each day officers put their lives at risk to apprehend suspects and protect the public. During this particular incident, officers attempted to stop the vehicle, and in doing so, three officers received injuries and four police vehicles sustained damage.”
Two passengers in the vehicle, another 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy, were arrested for burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, and failure to stop for police.
Sgt Schultze was treated at hospital for his injuries and was later discharged and is now back on duty.
