Australians preparing to spend up big during the Black Friday sales weekend will be thrilled to know there is a way to get a portion of your money back using a nifty rewards platform.

ShopBack partners with more than 2,000 different brands across the country including The Iconic, Myer, Rebel Sport, P.E Nation, UberEats and GHD who pay the unique website a commission for sending customers their way.

Then a portion of that commission is shared with the ShopBack shoppers, meaning you save money while you spend it on labels you would purchase garments and produce from anyway.

It’s important to note that shoppers will have to keep an eye on the exact cash back amounts on the website and app as each new day begins to ensure they’re not missing out on a deal.

The Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend has become the biggest online sale event in the world as retailers try to capture customers’ interests with early Christmas spending.

Australians are expected to spend $5.4billion this weekend, according to the Australian Retailers Association, so it pays for each of the major retailers to get involved.

How to get the most out of the Black Friday sales:

1. On the website shoppers can search the exact product they’re looking for and ShopBack will find the cheapest price available. So you don’t need to have multiple tabs open looking for the best deal.

2. If you download the ShopBack Chrome extension on your browser cashback notifications will appear on retailers’ sites and automatically apply the discounts when you shop online.

3. If you’re hitting the shops in Sydney you can link your debit or credit card to your ShopBack account and get cashback when purchasing from selected retailers in-store.
