Shoppers are in a frenzy over a stylish quilt cover from Kmart – and it will only set you back $18 for the Queen Size version.

The reversible Alika style quilt cover features an on-trend palm-print pattern and while it only launched this week, it has already drawn attention from shoppers who praised it for its ‘tropical’ and ‘summer design’.

The doona cover was first drawn attention to by one style enthusiast on Instagram known as the KmartHackQueen, when she included it as part of a budget bedroom transformation.

The entire bedroom makeover complete with every accessory cost the designer just under $130. 

‘Love this doona cover! And it’s styled so beautifully,’ one commenter wrote. 

‘Loving the tropical print…styled beautifully. I was tossing up between this one and one of the featured ones from the Kmart release last week,’ another woman said.

And KmartHackQueen isn’t the only person to have bought and styled up the quilt.

Other shoppers showed how they had styled the on-trend item.

This isn’t the only Kmart item in the new homewares range that has sent shoppers into a spin. 

Other items such as the Bamboo Pot holder, $19, have proven a hit.

Their $8.50 blue and white quilt cover and range of throws sure to brighten up any room as the temperature warms up.

In addition to the affordably priced duvet, Kmart has also included several cushions which are ideal for layering.

One cushion, priced at a mere $8, features a divine botanical print in elegant shades of grey.

If you are looking to add some texture, a jute cushion featuring a fringed edge is ideal. This item is priced at $12.

This pairs incredibly well with a boho-inspired woven cushion in cream, priced at $12.

Kmart has also made sure to include items to make wardrobe organisation a far simpler task.

A six shelf hanging arrangement is on offer by the retailer for the affordable price of $10. Felt drawers to match can also be purchased and are priced at $7.50 each.

Lastly, a wicker washing basket, priced at $14, makes keeping your laundry looking as tidy as possible.
