Shoppers can’t believe their eyes after spotting CHRISTMAS trees in Costco

Shoppers can’t believe their eyes after spotting CHRISTMAS trees in stores more than four months early

  • Shoppers have spotted Christmas tree displays at a Costco store in Victoria
  • Aussie mum Mykayla was shocked and quickly shared the news on Facebook
  • Stocked in store were small and large trees along with Nutcracker statues

Photos of new Christmas trees and festive products stocked on shelves at Costco have surfaced online – more than four months ahead of the holiday.

Mum-of-two Mykayla spotted the buys in Ringwood, Victoria and shared the snaps on a Christmas-themed Facebook group.

While some were keen to score a deal ahead of time, others slammed the early stocking as ‘pure madness’ and a ‘money grab’.

‘No! I’m not ready for Christmas yet,’ one person commented and didn’t sound pleased.

But another wrote: ‘This makes me so happy, I can’t wait to decorate again.’

‘Time to get that Costco membership,’ a third said.

Others found it hilarious the Christmas products were readily available four months ahead of the big day.

Another person tagged a friend and wrote: ‘I think you might have to take me to Costco.’

After browsing the aisles Mykayla couldn't help but purchase four small light-up Christmas trees for $220 each. 'I walked in to buy kitty litter and almost had a heart attack tbh (to be honest), immediately ran out and got a cart,' she wrote

The large Christmas tree, which stands nearly 3m tall, also retails for a whopping $1199.99.

Those wanting to shop at Costco also require a membership.

Last year instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a new Christmas tree, a clever shopper has restored the look of her 10-year-old tree with lick of ‘snow spray’ paint.

Rachel, from New South Wales, Australia, said she purchased the artificial tree a decade ago from Kmart but wanted ‘a different look’ this year without spending a fortune.

As a cheap alternative, she bought a can of snow spray to replicate the look of snow and add wintry touch.

The end result looked stunning and the white glaze over the green tree perfectly matched the silver and gold decorations.

The canned product was bought from Ronis Home Depot and would’ve cost no more than $5.

The budget-friendly idea added an uplifting, refreshing touch the old tree.
