Shropshire suspected thief branded Britain’s sexiest crook

Police are searching for this woman after a ‘nasty incident’ in Oswestry, Shropshire

A robbery suspect suspect has been branded as ‘Britain’s sexiest crook’ after police released an e-fit of her on social media.

The sketch of the woman was published by West Mercia Police after a driver managed to escape from a man and a woman who tried to rob him in Oswestry, Shropshire.

But after the appeal was shared on social media, men across the country soon flocked to declare their admiration for the ‘beautiful’ suspect.

The wanted woman is described as being white, around 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build with blonde hair and spoke in a European accent.

Liam Connors said: ‘She can try and get into my car anytime. There’s just something about a bad-girl you can’t help but love.’

Neil Jones added: ‘That’s the best looking girl on an e-fit I think I’ve ever seen. Britain’s sexiest crook. Defo.’

Max Bennington wrote: ‘She is mega-hot. Please catch her so I can get her number. Slim, 5ft 8ins, blonde, European – its like a dating profile.’

Police say she is wanted in connection with a ‘nasty incident’ which took place at 8.30pm on June 7.

The victim, aged in his 30s, was travelling towards Glyn Ceirog along the B4580 when the woman appeared by the roadside looking distressed.

When the motorist stopped and wound down his window to speak to the lady, her male accomplice opened his door and used his seatbelt to restrain him.

At the same time the woman opened the passenger door but the driver managed to take control of his vehicle and drove away without anything being stolen.

The woman is also described as wearing a blue Puffa style jacket and had what is believed to be a European accent. There is no description of the man.

PC Diane Langford, of West Mercia Police, said: ‘This was a nasty incident that was very distressing for the victim.

‘We are still trying to piece together exactly what happened and would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to please come forward.

‘We would remind drivers to be vigilant at all times and if you see another driver in distress, to report this to police by calling 999.’

Earlier this year, Katie Curtis won hearts on the internet after Hertfordshire Constabulary posted her mug shot online.

She was wanted by police for failing to turn up to a court appearance.

In 2014 American criminal Jeremy Meeks’ life changed when he was arrested for gun possession and his mug shot went viral.

Since his release from prison he has been signed by a modelling agency.
