Disturbing footage of a woman smoking from a bong before exhaling into the face of a young child has been shared online.
The video started making the rounds on social media on Sunday and shows the woman sitting with a children’s swing set in the background.
She is seen smoking from the homemade device in Gladstone, Queensland, with the caption on the video reading ‘hahaha’.

The footage was given to the Department of Child Safety which is appealing for any further information which could help identify the woman.
It is not known what the woman is smoking in the footage.
Under the Child Protection Act 1999 child abuse is considered anything which causes a ‘child to suffer harm is suffering harm, or is at risk of suffering harm’.
Or ‘does not have a parent able and willing to protect them from harm’.
Neglect abuse is when a child is not given the basic necessities for life including, food, housing, health care, adequate clothing, personal hygiene, hygienic living conditions, timely provision of medical treatment and adequate supervision.
