The New York Police Department has asked the public for assistance in identifying three young men who were caught on surveillance tackling and robbing a teenage boy on the street.
The victim, a 17-year-old, had been standing on a sidewalk in front of 143-32 Quince Avenue in Queens Saturday afternoon when he was thrown to the ground by a trio of thugs who leaped out of their vehicle after they spotted his $2,000 Air Jordans, the police department said in an email to DailyMail.com.
The young victim is seen on surveillance getting aggressively wrangled by the men and afterward, thrown against a vehicle parked on the street.

The unidentified men threw the 17-year-old on the ground before robbing him of his kicks and wallet
Another driver is spotted passing by as the attack went down, without stopping.
Police said the teen had been transported to Flushing Hospital in stable condition. He suffered lacerations to his knees and arms.
The suspects, described by authorities as three light-skinned males between 17 to 20 years old, were driving a white 4 door sedan and traveled northbound on Quince Avenue after the attack.

One of the males had been wearing a white t-shirt and dark colored pants. The second, red sweatpants with white stripes on the sides and black sneakers. The third, a red t-shirt, dark colored pants and white sneakers.
