Simon Baker, the star from hit television series The Mentalist, has been charged with two drink driving-related offences.
The 55-year-old will appear in Mullumbimby Local Court, northern NSW, on September 4.
Charges include attempting to drive while under influence of alcohol, and driving a vehicle under influence of alcohol.
He was granted bail with no conditions.
Baker has been nominated for a TV Week Logie Award on Sunday for his leading role in Netflix series, Boy Swallows Universe.
He split with his wife Rebecca Rigg in 2022 following 20 years of marriage, but they still own a property together in Nashua, near Byron Bay.
