The whole entertainment industry is adjusting to life in lockdown and social distancing amid the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic. 

And the America’s Got Talent cast were getting in on the act on Wednesday evening as the judges and host – including Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara and Terry Crews – gathered for a video call from their homes. 

Sure to solicit some laughs from their loyal fans was the show’s head honcho, 60, and the German supermodel, 46, who donned matching pyjamas during the chat.

AGT is taking its auditions from the stage to the screen, as hopefuls have been urged to send in their videos to be judges by the all-star panel. 

Led by Terry, the group chatted about the new form of auditioning before the meeting was interrupted by Simon’s six-year-old son Eric.  

Eric carried some pyjamas into the meeting, which Simon noted were near-identical to Heidi’s – shortly before he got changed into the lavish two-piece. 

Sofia seemed delighted with little Eric as she said: ‘Beautiful Eric, good job’, before Simon said: ‘They are actually almost identical’.

Howie then joked that even in pyjamas, Simon opts for his trademark low-cut look – a style he has become well-known for during his time in the spotlight. 

Sofia then spotted Heidi’s ring light – a tool used to create stunning selfies, as she urged the supermodel to tell her where she had got it from. 

The meeting comes just weeks after Simon revealed he was forced to test for coronavirus after Heidi experienced symptoms on set.

The music mogul updated fans on the model’s wellbeing at the time, after she confirmed she had tested negative for the virus.

The media personality – who held back his results – whether he also reassured fans that the competition show is still on track to return in July, if the pandemic subsides.

‘She’s doing great’, the TV star on catwalk queen Heidi’s recovery. ‘We [Heidi, Simon, Alesha Dixon, Howie Mandel, Terry Crews and other crew members] all got tested, we had to.’
