Simon Cowell has called in the police after noticing a ‘suspicious’ man outside his £10million London mansion.
The X Factor judge, 61, who has been targeted before, is said to take security very seriously and wanted to speak to police after seeing the man outside his property several times.
Cops were contacted by Cowell’s security staff at the West London address last Saturday. Cowell, girlfriend Lauren Silverman, and their seven-year-old son Eric, were out at the time.
Police returned for a 40-minute meeting on Thursday and viewed CCTV footage of the suspicion man. Cowell appeared shaken after the meeting, though it is understood no further action is being taken at this time.

He has previously spoken out over suffering nightmares that someone may hurt his seven-year-old son Eric following a series of break-ins at the address.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: ‘There was a man loitering around outside Simon’s house, and his re-appearance on several occasions was a concern. Based on that, Simon wanted to have a chat with the coppers.
‘He had been out at the time, but there were staff in the house and he was very concerned after he was told the man had been picked up on his CCTV.
‘Because of his past experience, Simon takes security very seriously.
‘This man could have been a stalker or could have been scoping out his house, as well as others in their neighbourhood, as targets for a break-in, so Simon felt it was necessary to have a conversation with the police.’

Six years ago Darren February targeted Cowell’s home for a £1million jewellery raid
The 61-year-old and his family have repeatedly been targeted by thugs. Six years ago Darren February targeted the mansion for a £1million jewellery raid as Cowell slept.
February broke into the five-bedroom property in upmarket Holland Park, through a patio door and stole jewellery and two passports.
Just ten days later in December 2015, he mowed down and killed a 52-year-old father while driving up the wrong side of the road at 58mph.
February was jailed for eight and a half years for causing death by dangerous driving. He had already been convicted of 37 burglaries, repeatedly targeting the wealthy areas of Kensington and Bayswater which provided rich pickings.
In a statement read to the jury Cowell said: ‘My son and his nanny were in their bedroom on the second floor and our security guard Simon Williams was in his office on the ground floor. There is a large safe within a wardrobe.
‘Myself and Lauren went to bed at 12:30 on the morning of the burglary, and I believe that my nanny and son were already asleep.
‘I next remember being woken by Simon Williams who said here had been an incident in the property, we had been robbed and should stay in the room.’

He went on: ‘Lauren and myself had then asked about my son and we were very concerned about making sure he was alright.
‘Our safe had been open and items had been taken. Lauren was flying abroad that morning and she wanted to quietly get her jewellery.
‘The security guard came to me and told me my passports and brown 1920 attache case had been recovered and I realised it had been taken.’
Cowell said among the jewellery taken were watches worth £200,000, diamond rings worth £500,000, diamond earrings valued at £220,000 and diamond bracelets worth £50,000.
Most of the items have not been recovered. He added: ‘No one has the right or authority to steal from Lauren or myself and I will go to court if required.’
Leanne Zaloumis broke into Cowell’s house in March 2012 and hit, holding a brick, on a shelf in his giant wardrobe
Cowell has also been targeted by stalkers and in 2012 discovered a super fan hiding on a shelf in his giant wardrobe holding a brick.
Leanne Zaloumis avoided jail for the offence but was slapped with a 12-month community order and told to wear an electronic tag.
And convicted murdered Michael Danaher, 50, was found to have a list of targets which featured Cowell at number two or three.
Cowell now reportedly sleeps with a baseball bat nearby. In February, he further ramped up security measures by adding a ‘blind spot’ back entrance to the home.
He has also recently ramped up security measures at another house he owns in another area of London.
It comes after he spent months bedridden after a devastating electric bike accident at his Malibu home in August last year.
