Simon Cowell continues to display his trimmer frame as he joins Lauren Silverman at ITV Palooza

He has been showing off the results of his dramatic weight loss of late, after adopting a vegan diet.

And Simon Cowell looked svelte as he posed up with his glamorous girlfriend Lauren Silverman at the ITV Palooza at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Tuesday.

The X Factor judge, 60, displayed his 20lb weight loss physique in his trademark open necked crisp shirt paired with a sharply tailored navy blazer as he wrapped an arm around Lauren, 42.

The blazer cinched in at his trim midriff and the mogul paired this with his signature flared trousers and cuban heels.

Lauren flaunted her honed legs in a black velvet dress with a striking ruffled hem teamed with bejewelled stiletto sandals.

Her brunette locks were styled in loose waves while her pretty features were enhanced with smoky shadow, fluttery lashes and berry lipstick.

Cowell recently admitted that he drastically changed his diet so he could keep up with young son Eric.

He told the Ellen DeGeneres Show: ‘I went to see this doctor in London. We did some tests. And then a month later he said, “You have the worst diet I’ve ever met from any patient.”

‘So I went, “Okay, out of the smoking, the drinking, and diet, what do I have to drop?” And he said, “The diet.” So I said, “I’m in!”

‘It was easier than I thought, and part of the reason I did it was because of Eric. I realised if I didn’t sort myself out physically, I wouldn’t be able to catch up with him.

‘Because the minute he gets up to the minute he goes to sleep … their energy, you forget, at five years old, is phenomenal.’

Simon previously said he’d named his diet the Eric Cowell diet after his son, because the youngster loves to munch on raw vegetables.

He said: ‘It’s like the Eric diet because he actually, apart from ice cream, he actually likes water. I mean, who likes water? And his raw vegetables. So I’m on like, the Eric Cowell diet.’

ITV Palooza is the network’s chance to unveil plans for the year and to preview brand new shows.

Tuesday’s event will be hosted by comedian John Bishop, 52, and stars from ITV’s shows are expected to walk the red carpet.

Ahead of the gala ITV announced their plans for a new advertising product called Planet V which is due in 2020.

The system will allow advertisers to blend ITV first-party data with their own data to reach audiences, reports The Drum.

ITV also revealed that Good Morning Britain will be extended by half an hour to run from 6am until 9am.

This means that Lorraine will move to 9am, followed at 10am by This Morning, also extended by 30 minutes, before Loose Women at 12.30pm, ending at 1.30pm.

Last year’s star-studded event was also held at the Royal Festival Hall in London and was attended by more than 1300 people.

Guests included the likes of TV presenters Caroline Flack and Susanna Reid as well Love Island stars Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham and comedian Paddy McGuinness.

Caroline channelled the Sixties in a funky LBD while Amanda Holden took centre-stage in a daring thigh-split dress which boasted a plunging lace-insert neckline.

The 2018 event was the first at its new location after being hosted at the London Palladium for the previous three years, reports Campaign.

During the evening chief executive Dame Carolyn McCall spoke about advertising and Robbie Williams closed the event by singing hits including Angels.
