And Simon Cowell proved that his new diet is working wonders as he showed off his impressive 20lb weight loss whilst leaving the Britain’s Got Talent first semi-final show in London on Monday.
Heading home with girlfriend Lauren Silverman, the 59-year-old talent show judge seemed in high spirits as he waved at photographers whilst clutching a £50 note in his hand.

Beaming broadly, Simon flashed his megawatt smile whilst cosying up to Lauren, 41, and giving a thumbs up signal.
Simon was looking visibly more svelte after losing 20lbs as a result of going on a vegan diet.
The star was inspired to change his lifestyle after he was hospitalised in October 2017 after fainting while going down the stairs as a result of low blood pressure.

Speaking last month about his new diet, Simon told Extra: ‘I went to see this guy who’s very well-known. And he said to me, after doing some blood work, “You can’t have red meat, dairy, sugar, bread or gluten.”‘
But the X Factor boss added that his first thought following the advice was ‘What about alcohol?’.
Laughing, Simon said: ‘And he said, “Maybe not quite as much as you had before.” And I did it and I stuck to it and it’s easy.’

The talent show judge confessed he was following his five-year-old son Eric’s diet, explaining: ‘Apart from ice cream, he actually likes water, and eats all his raw vegetable. I’m on the Eric Cowell diet.’
A source recently told the Daily Mirror the music mogul has ‘lost half a stone’ thanks to his new healthy lifestyle and has had ‘a real spring in his step’.
The insider claimed that Simon first began the diet overhaul after he visited the doctors, where they explained that he was feeling tired due to an intolerance of certain foods.
