Simone Callahan shows off her impressive yoga moves with the help of a fold-up seat on Instagram

Simone Callahan certainly has a unique purpose for chairs.

In a video posted to her Instagram on Monday, the 48-year-old showed off her impressive yoga moves while striking a series of ambitious poses on a fold-up chair.

Wearing a black and white check singlet top, black shorts and white leg warmers, Simone begins crouched up on the floor, before uncurling and flipping her legs over her head and onto the back of the chair.

She holds the pose for several seconds while clinging onto the legs of chair, seemingly for dear life.

A second pose sees her arching her back even further, as she brings both of her feet down onto the seat.

She then raises her feet back onto the backrest of the chair, before flipping her legs back over and resuming her original pose.

Simone captioned the video with a series of emojis, and simply wrote ‘#yoga’.

In an interview with the Herald Sun back in May, Simone revealed she first began practising yoga while going through a rough patch with her now ex-husband Shane Warne, 49.

‘I got into yoga about 15 years ago, when I started going through stuff with Shane and I wasn’t really coping,’ she told the newspaper.

‘I’d see pictures of yogis and I’d think they look so at peace, they look well and healthy, and that’s what attracted me.

‘It’s a sanctuary… it instills a lot of good in you through the poses and the shifting of energy and not holding onto stuff.’

She reiterated this during an interview with A Current Affair in July.

‘It’s been very good for me, for calming myself,’ she told the television program at the time.
