Singer Stan Walker has made his first public appearance with his new girlfriend at a charity event in Sydney.

The former Australian Idol winner stepped out with Alex King, after only revealing news of his ‘secret’ girlfriend in May of this year.

Posing on the red carpet, the young couple looked chic for their first appearance together at Tour de Cure Snow Ball held at The Star in Sydney on Saturday night.

Making it official! Singer Stan Walker makes his first red carpet appearance with new girlfriend Alex King… after revealing his own heart-breaking cancer battle

The 27-year-old, who performed at the event, dazzled in a slim-fitting burnt orange suit which he paired with a black turtleneck.

The New Zealand singer finished the look with a drop chain which featured a cross, a slim belt and a pair of black-and-white Converse sneakers.

Meanwhile, Alex kept things stylish in a snug fitting blue-and-white frock, which featured fringe detail on the sleeves and around the bust.

The blue dress featured a white sheer overlay, which flaunted her lithe figure and paired the dress with demure strappy tan heels.

Stan first made mention of his new love in an interview with YahooBe  last month, coyly saying: ‘I’ve always got time for love. I’ve got a beautiful girlfriend who I’ve kept hidden away.’

Later that month fans got their first glimpse of Alex when Stan shared loved-up posts of the pair to his Instagram account.
