Single woman left stunned after receiving cryptic note midway through her date

A single woman was left stunned after receiving a cryptic note midway through her date.

The woman, known as Lindsay, shared her story to TikTok, revealing she was handed a note that read ‘JUST NO,’ in big, bold letters by two women sitting nearby.

‘What does it mean?’ she asked, holding up a picture of the note in the clip.

Lindsay, who is based in the Dallas Fort Worth area in Texas, explained she had been given the note by fellow guests sitting at a nearby table on January 20.

In a separate video she revealed the full note, which read: ‘Just no. You can do better.’

Describing the mystery observers as ‘girls’ girls,’ Lindsay posted a video to explain that the anonymous women were in their mid-20s and to ask if anyone had any further information.

‘I don’t know, if y’all saw something I did not see let me know,’ Lindsay pleaded. ‘Help a girl out.’

In a series of follow-up clips, Lindsay, who is in her 40s, explained the situation, adding that she was feeling conflicted as things were going well with the man, who is in his early 50s.

The woman, known as Lindsay, shared her story to TikTok , revealing she was handed a note that read ‘JUST NO,’ in big, bold letters by two women sitting nearby

She revealed that had been out on their third date at a bar in her area of town – meaning she was unsure if he knew people in the establishment.

‘Do these girls f**king know him?’ she asked in the video. ‘But they didn’t put that in the note.’

Lindsay added people around them definitely would have known they were together, as they were at the bar for awhile watching a football game.

She noted the girls were sitting behind her, and they handed her the note when she returned from the bathroom.

‘When I sit down, they get up to leave and then one of the girls stops [and] grabs my hair and is like: “Oh my god you’re hair is so pretty, you’re so beautiful I just had to stop you, I just wanted to give you this” [and handed me the note],’ Lindsay recalled.

She said her date asked what the note said, and she barely opened it up just seeing in big letters: ‘Just no.’

The content creator admitted that she didn’t want to open it up entirely, so put it in her purse, but her date kept asking to see it before eventually dropping the issue.

Lindsay waited until she went to the bathroom a second time to read the rest of the note, which immediately made her question the man she was on a date with.

'I don't know, if y'all saw something I did not see let me know,' Lindsay pleaded. 'Help a girl out'

‘I don’t know, if y’all saw something I did not see let me know,’ Lindsay pleaded. ‘Help a girl out’

‘So, thoughts?’ she asked viewers. ‘I’m like did he do something when I got up to go to the bathroom? Did he hit on them?’

‘Do they know him around town?’ she questioned.

‘Were they just being girls’ girls, [and] being sweet or did they see something?’ she continued.

She admitted the interruption made her unable to concentrate for the rest of the date.

In yet another upload, Lindsay said she eventually asked her date about the note, which he responded to with a string of drunk messages.

She added it tainted her opinion of him, especially as he claimed not to remember them due to drinking and it had happened before, which led Lindsey to not want to pursue a relationship.

Viewers applauded her decision, pointing out the girls wouldn’t have left a note unless it was for a reason.

‘Stay picky,’ one urged. ‘It’s called having high standards. They’re worth having. They’re not too high for the right person, period.’

‘I’m so glad you dropped him. I was invested! Keep standards high, men will always bring you down to their level,’ agreed another.
