Sir Tom was forced to cancel his gig at York Racecourse on Friday because of the thunder and lightning storms in the area.

This came after he was forced to postpone what was the fifth consecutive gig on his current tour, thanks to a bacterial infection that saw him rushed to hospital.

The last update on Sir Tom’s condition came on Friday when it was revealed that the The Voice judge’s infection was being ‘well managed’ by medical professionals and that he was ‘in good spirits’.

Fans with tickets to Sir Tom’s current cancelled shows have been told they can get full refunds, and some dates have been rescheduled.
