Sisters of missing chef Allecha Boyd plead for her return

Sisters of a chef last seen six weeks ago at a Woolworths supermarket have pleaded for her return in an emotionally charged press conference.

Allecha Suzette Boyd, the cousin of AFL Collingwood star Will Hoskin-Elliot, was last seen at the supermarket in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, at 9.15am on August 10.

The 27-year-old’s disappearance was described as ‘out of character’ by her sisters Rihannon and Tammara Boyd.

‘Allecha if you can hear us, we just want you to know that we love you,’ sister Tammara told a media conference before breaking down in tears.

‘We just want you to be safe, come home, call us and if there is anything wrong we can fix it and can make it work,’ she said.

Police believe the chef may have met with foul play as her bank cards and social media accounts have remained untouched since her disappearance.

Homicide detectives have now joined forces with the local police to find the missing woman.

‘Allecha is a caring and loving person, she would travel to the end of the world to make sure anyone is safe and okay.

‘She has excelled in life, won awards and travelled across the world with Jamie Oliver as a chef and very is family orientated woman,’ added Tammana.

‘She is going to be turning 28 on September 26.’

Both sisters pleaded for Allecha’s return, adding that their mother was very distraught.

Tammara pleaded for anyone with information about her sister’s disappearance to come forward and speak to police.

However, Tammara did not answer questions from reporters about an alleged drug debt her sister had.

Allecha was last seen in a green and silver Subaru Outback they at Coolamon on the day she went missing.

The driver of the vehicle is a friend of Allecha, but has been cleared of any wrongdoing.

Instead, police believe the person she met afterwards could hold the answer to the mystery surrounding her disappearance, 7 News reports.

Since news of her disappearance came to light, Allecha’s cousin Megan Hoskin-Elliott set up a Facebook page to spread word of her disappearance.

In just three days the ‘#helpfindallecha’ group received some 1,200 followers, with a number of her friends and family calling on the much-loved chef to make contact.
