Sky Sports presenter Hayley McQueen, 39, has welcomed a baby daughter to the world with her fiancé Kirk Newmann after documenting her fertility battles.
Sharing a sweet snap on Instagram, the new mum was radiant as she posed from her hospital bed alongside Kirk, while in another duo of snaps they took it in turns to hold her before she also shared a Wikipedia definition of the name Ayla.
She added a caption reading: ‘Here she is! our darling baby daughter Ayla McQueen-Newmann, we couldn’t be more in love with her ❤️. The September baby that kept us waiting until October 3rd….

The reporter and award-winning producer from Manchester, unveiled the news on Instagram again and was lauded for the happy reveal.
Hayley, who doubted she could ever get pregnant, penned: ‘BREAKING NEWS. I’d hoped having a baby was going to happen one day but wasn’t sure it ever would.

‘Just as we we were about to embark on an IVF journey abroad I found out I was expecting. In fact, the very day I spoke to the embryologist to map out my cycle and dates was the day we found out.’
She said that her fiancé was ‘ever the optimist’ and always believed they would conceive naturally.
