Instagram model Skye Wheatley invited her boyfriend Lachlan Waugh to be her makeup artist for the day – with hilarious results.
The former Big Brother star, 25, shared a YouTube video on Monday in which she trusted Lachlan to apply her cosmetics.
But as her fans no doubt suspected, the experiment didn’t end well.

In the video, Lachlan goes through a step-by-step makeup tutorial featuring some ill-advised, albeit hilarious, instructions.
Deciding to start with ‘unicorn drops’, Lachlan says: ‘You’d usually do one or two milliliters of this, but I’m doing to do more because Skye’s skin is very thirsty.’
Skye realises that this isn’t a good decision, but goes along with it nonetheless.

When Lachlan chooses to apply concealer with press powder, Skye bursts out laughing and questions his expertise.
‘Are you going to let me do my job or are you going to whinge the whole time?’ he then replies.
Throughout the makeup tutorial, the two lovebirds stop to kiss and share sickly sweet compliments.
‘We’re just going to get the imperfections but there aren’t many because Skye is perfect,’ Lachlan says at one point.
‘Baby you’re looking sexy,’ he later admits, after caking her face with concealer.

Lachlan finishes things up with several hues of eyeshadow and wonky red lipstick, before declaring: ‘F**k, I actually think I could be a makeup artist!’
But after looking at herself in the mirror, Skye is less than impressed and claims she ‘looks about 50 years old’.
She adds: ‘The eye shadow looks like a two-year old attempted to draw a rainbow. I don’t even know how somebody could apply lipstick that badly!’
