Smith’s has delighted shoppers with the launch of its new meatlovers pizza flavoured Twisties – but you’ll have to be quick because they won’t be around for long.
The savoury barbecue snacks have landed in Woolworths supermarket stores – and they come in a ‘party’ bag for just $3 each.
Customers are excited to try the new creation, with one saying: ‘I love meatlovers pizza and I love Twisties so what could go wrong?’

Those who tried the new flavour insisted it tasted ‘surprisingly good’.
‘The smell of meatlovers pizza hits you instantly after opening the bag. The taste is definitely a meat flavour with a sweet BBQ sauce and spices. Only comes in the party bag so it’s pretty dangerous for snacking,’ a snack reviewer wrote on Instagram.
‘I enjoyed the taste. I don’t know if it’s a flavour I would buy again as I definitely enjoy the original cheese rather than these but it wasn’t bad.’
While another added: ‘They taste great.’
However, not everyone seemed keen on trying, with one saying: ‘That’s a no from me,’ while another joked: ‘Go home Twisties, you’re drunk.’

However the chips have divided customers on social media, with some saying they weren’t a fan of the new flavour after tasting it.
‘I am still horrified by this,’ one woman wrote, while another said: ‘Seriously the worst chip I’ve ever tasted, not one of our five people household liked these.’
While one shopper added: ‘The flavour of mustard is pretty strong. I get the feeling I have tasted these before as they are similar to the burger flavour chips around so definitely not something new.’
However, many saying they enjoyed the new Thins hot dog flavour.
‘Yummy. I had a packet yesterday and they are to die for,’ one said, while another added: ‘They are pretty good, I couldn’t stop eating them.’
