Currently, they are only set to return to Western Australia by the end of the month.

Deb Poole, Bunnings chief operating officer, told the West Australian she understands the public has missed the sausages.

She said the organisation is working on a careful plan to bring them back in adherence to coronavirus rules.

‘We are consulting with governments and our charity partners to ensure we bring them back in a way that’s safe for everyone,’ she said.

‘We hope to have them back up and running in WA towards the end of the month pending final checks and consultation.’

Campbell Pudney, from Wanneroo Sports and Social Club, said his organisation were booked to host a sausage on August 1.

He told the 6PR Breakfast it doesn’t mean a lot to the public but it makes a huge difference to local sporting clubs.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Bunnings for comment.
