Snezana Markoski weds Sam Wood in stunning Byron Bay ceremony

They fell in love on the third season of Channel Ten’s reality TV juggernaut The Bachelor.

And now Sam Wood, 38, and Snezana Markoski, also 38, have officially tied the knot, making them the second couple in the franchise to do so.

The Bachelor lovebirds exchanged vows against the stunning backdrop of rolling hills and ocean views at the award-winning Fig Tree Restaurant in Byron Bay on Thursday.

The brunette bride arrived in a kombi van, which added a unique touch to the elegant-yet-relaxed ceremony.

While it was Sam and Snezana’s special day, their young daughter Willow Wood came close to stealing the spotlight away from her mother and father at the ceremony.

The one-year-old played a pivotal role during her parents nuptials – acting as a flower girl.

As she prepared to make her way down the aisle, Willow was seen being cradled by one of the bridesmaids.

According to sources at the ceremony, about 70 guests attended the nuptials, which took place at around 3pm on Thursday afternoon.

Speaking about her gorgeous gown, mother-of-two Snezana previously told Who magazine that she and Pallas Couture had been ‘putting our heads together trying to figure it out and making sure it’s “me”.’

She also partnered with Edward Meller to design her own customised heels for her big day.

Little Willow appeared to have been dressed in a miniature version of her mum’s stunning wedding dress.

Her little gown featured a while tulle skirt and lace bodice and sleeves, but unlike her mum, Willow’s dress was paired with jelly sandals.

Sam and Snez’s ceremony may come as a surprise to some, after the couple told Who magazine this week that their wedding wouldn’t take place until December.

They had previously planned to tie the knot in Italy last year, but the wedding was postponed when Snezana became pregnant with the couple’s first child.

Sam and Snezana fell in love on the third season of The Bachelor, in 2015.

The couple have gone to find great success together, with Sam launching his hugely successful fitness app 28 by Sam Wood back in 2016.

The same year, they purchased a three-bedroom home in Melbourne’s Elsternwick for a cool $1.65 million.
