Snoop Dogg calls Kanye West an ‘Uncle Tom’ for his support of Donald Trump

Snoop Dogg has joined the long list of celebrities who have condemned Kanye West for his very public support of Donald Trump.

Numerous fans were quick to notice when Snoop took to Instagram and called him an ‘Uncle Tom’ on a picture that showed the rapper in his MAGA hat.

‘Make ya music great again n***a,’ Snoop wrote in one comment, before adding: ‘Uncle Tom. A** n***a’.

Snoop’s Instagram comments came shortly after West went on a highly-publicized pro-Trump tirade following his final musical performance on Saturday’s SNL episode.

‘So many times I talk to a white person about this and they say, “How could you like Trump? He’s racist.”,’ he said.

‘Well, if I was concerned about racism I would’ve moved out of America a long time ago. We don’t make our decisions off of racism.’

This is hardly the first time Snoop has hit out at West for his continued and unabashed support of Trump.

During a Sirius XM interview last month, Snoop got candid about how he sees anyone who supports the current president.

‘I tell ’em straight up muthaf***a. If you like that n***a [Trump] you muthaf****a racist. F**k you and f**k him. Now what?’ he told DJ Suss One.

Snoop then directly brought up West’s name and said ‘f**k him too’.

But on Monday it appeared as if Snoop had forgiven the rapper, posting a picture of West wearing a photo with his face on it and the caption 'forgiveness is everything'

‘Kanye too. Don’t forget about him too. F**k you too. Throw him in the bag, ’cause he right there with the muthaf****a.’

And in April Snoop took a swipe at West’s relationship with Kim Kardashian, writing in an Instagram post: ‘The evolution of Jay-Z and Kanye show how influential your wife can be to your life.’

While he’s had harsh words for West in the past, by Monday it already appeared as if Snoop had forgiven him.

The hip hop mogul posted a video, which appeared to be from this week, that showed West sporting a T-shirt with Snoop’s face on it while wearing his MAGA hat.

‘Forgiveness is everything,’ Snoop wrote in the caption.

But plenty of stars in Hollywood haven’t been shy when it comes to expressing their anger at West this week, especially after he called for the US to abolish the constitutional amendment ending slavery.

West left fans bewildered on Sunday after he posted a photo of himself wearing a Make America Great Again hat on a private jet and called for the removal of the 13th Amendment in the caption.

‘This represents good and America becoming whole again,’ the 41-year-old wrote.

‘We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs.’

‘We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment. Message sent with love.’

Actor Chris Evans responded an hour later, tweeting: ‘There’s nothing more maddening than debating someone who doesn’t know history, doesn’t read books, and frames their myopia as virtue.’

‘The level of unapologetic conjecture I’ve encountered lately isn’t just frustrating, it’s retrogressive, unprecedented and absolutely terrifying.’

Evans’ reply garnered more than 200,000 likes as of Sunday evening, and was retweeted by celebrities including Busy Phillips, Josh Gad and Willie Garson.

West also posted the same photo and caption on Instagram, where it caught the eye of Lana Del Rey.

‘Trump becoming our president was a loss for the country but your support for him is a loss for the culture,’ she wrote in a lengthy comment.

‘I can only assume you relate to his personality on some level. Delusions of grandeur, extreme issues with narcissism — none of which would be a talking point if we weren’t speaking about the man leading our country.’

‘If you think it’s alright to support someone who believes it’s OK to grab a woman by the p**** just because he’s famous, then you need an intervention as much as he does, something so many narcissists will never get because there just isn’t enough help for the issue.’

West later attempted to explain his remarks in two other tweets, writing: ‘The 13th Amendment is slavery in disguise meaning it never ended. We are the solution that heals.’

In the second post he clarified: ‘Not abolish but. let’s amend the 13th amendment We apply everyone’s opinions to our platform.’

West’s eccentric comments came hot on the heels of his performance on Saturday Night Live.

After his final song, West shocked the audience as he began talking about his support for Trump and claimed he was asked by the show not to wear his MAGA hat.

‘You see they laughing at me. You heard ’em, they scream at me, they bully me. They bullied me backstage,’ said West, who also alluded to running for president in 2020.

‘They said, “Don’t go out there with that hat on”. They bullied me backstage. They bullied me.’

‘I wanna cry right now. Black man in America, you’re supposed to keep what you feel inside right now,’ West sang as he began his rant.

‘And the liberals bully you and tell you what you can and cannot wear. And they look at me and say, “It’s not fair. How the hell did you get here?”‘.

‘If someone inspires me and I connect with them, I don’t have to believe in all their policies…We need to have a dialogue not a diatribe, because if you want something to change, it’s not going to change by saying, “F**k that person”. Try love. Try love.’

The entire cast was on stage, as were West’s musical guests 070 Shake, Kid Cudi, and Ty Dolla $ign, as the crowd booed his speech.

However, Trump himself appeared to appreciate Kanye’s words during the show that took aim at the president’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

‘Like many, I don’t watch Saturday Night Live (even though I past hosted it) – no longer funny, no talent or charm,’ Trump tweeted on Sunday.

‘It is just a political ad for the Dems. Word is that Kanye West, who put on a MAGA hat after the show (despite being told “no”) was great. He’s leading the charge!’
