Socceroos cult hero Jason Cummings gets VERY sensual haircut at 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar

It’s important for football players to look sharp with the eyes of the globe on them during the World Cup, so Socceroos star Jason Cummings made sure he found the best barber in Qatar.

And it’s safe to say the cult hero thoroughly enjoyed his haircut and rather physical scalp massage. 

The Scottish-born striker, who is currently playing in the A-League for the Mariners, is well-known for his cheeky sense of humour and much-loved by Central Coast fans – scoring 12 goals in 26 appearances for the club. 

The former Hibernian star, who qualifies for Australia through his mother, first played for the Socceroos in September – and is now preparing to run out for them on the grandest stage of all. 

But first, he had to make sure his hair was looking on point. 

‘Ohhh, give this guy a tip! Unbelievable … treatment for the big dogs,’ Cummings laughed about his barber in a video posted to the Socceroos social media pages.

The barber massaged Cummings scalp with his fingers, eliciting quite the response from the Socceroos star before he began to lightly knock on his skull. 

‘Chopping me up mate, feels nice though,’ Cummings quipped.

For a fitting finale, the barber then squeezed both sides of Cummings’ face, which audibly cracked his knuckles. 

‘Oh! Cracked my skull,’ the striker joked, much to the delight of several teammates who were watching the haircut unfold. 

‘Unbelievable, brother, you’re gonna have some size of queue son now after that.  What a man, legend,’ Cummings said as his shook the barber’s hand with a wild smile on his face.

Cummings’ enjoyment of the fresh cut didn’t go unnoticed by delighted teammate Bailey Wright.

In a nod to the iconic ‘When Harry Met Sally’ movie scene starring Meg Ryan, Wright – who favours a slightly more conservative haircut – was not shy in admitted he wanted to feel exactly the way Cummings had. 

‘Take my money mate, I’ll have what he’s having,’ Wright said to the barber – who will no doubt now be in high demand.

Wright, Cummings and the rest of the Socceroos will take centre stage this Wednesday morning at 6am (AEDT), when they take on reigning World Champions France at Al Janoub Stadium in Al-Wakrah.

And either way, they will be looking crisp as they do so.
