Fresh from her long-running role on the hit ABC family comedy, Sofia’s already heading back to work as a new judge on AGT.
She’ll join former judge, Heidi Klum, on the panel after Klum took a hiatus from the show, only to return for AGT: Champions.

In a statement, Colombian-born Vergara said: ‘I’m so happy to join my new family on AGT. This is a new and exciting next chapter for me and I’m extremely proud to be the first Latin judge on the show.’
Klum and Vergara will replace Gabrielle Union and Julianne Hough who were fired after just one season the competition show.
Union joined as a judge for its 14th season and recently spoke out about her experiences with racist comments and being ‘too black’ for AGT audiences.
She also complained that judge-producer Cowell continuously smoked on the indoor set, Variety reported in November.
An investigation into the accusations was set to be complete in January although no findings have been released yet.
