Sophie Cachia hints at split from soccer player Alanna Kennedy after splitting from Jaryd Cachia

Mummy blogger and ex-AFL WAG Sophie Cachia has hinted that she’s split from Australian soccer player Alanna Kennedy, 25 – just ten days after the pair appeared to confirm their new romance.

In an Instagram post shared on Friday night, Sophie, the former wife of Carlton star Jaryd Cachia, wrote that she was ‘defeated, humiliated and broken’ in her ‘private life’  – however she did not make specific mention of Alanna.

While she did not detail why, Sophie went on to confess she was experiencing ‘betrayal and heartbreak’ adding, ‘when I love, I love SO damn hard’.

The blogger also shared an emotional video accompanied to music, during which she appears to break down as she’s comforted by her children.

In a caption alongside that video, which was illustrated by an artwork of two women holding hands, Sophie wrote at length: ‘The honest and raw truth right now is that right now – in my private life – I am defeated.

‘I am humiliated, I am broken and I am all but myself… this is now my reality that I cannot hide. My best friend asked me how I was travelling a few days ago, and the only way I could describe it was as close to being how dead feels.

‘I felt/feel like I have nothing to offer you now… I’m sitting in a thick fog of confusion and devastation that I currently can’t escape.

She added that she felt: 'Betrayal, disbelief, heartbreak, rage, humiliation, agony, stupidity, dead, soulless, scared, hollow, questionable, lost, confused and disposable... when I love, I love SO damn hard'

‘I can’t think, hear or see clearly, but I’ve just kept putting (tried to, anyway) one foot in front of the other in an attempt to maintain some normality in my life for my babies’ she added.

Sophie went on to say, ‘My mental state is the worst it’s ever been… My five-year-old has picked me up off the floor more times than any young boy should have to’.

She added that she felt, ‘Betrayal, disbelief, heartbreak, rage, humiliation, agony, stupidity, dead, soulless, scared, hollow, questionable, lost, confused and disposable… when I love, I love SO damn hard.’

The emotional post comes after Sophie shared a photo of herself and Alanna embracing on March 18.

In the caption, the former WAG said she’s glad to be in ‘isolation’ with Alanna amid the coronavirus pandemic.

‘Everything and everyone has a place and time. It’s been a longggggg and bumpy road for us to get here, but I’m glad to be in isolation and running out of toilet paper with you,’ Sophie wrote on Instagram.

The influencer shared the caption alongside two photos of the pair in an embrace, while self-isolating amid the coronavirus pandemic in Nelson Bay, New South Wales.

Sophie announced her split from former Carlton star Jaryd Cachia, 28, in September, after four years of marriage, to ‘experiment with her sexuality’.

At the time, the popular blogger said that she had been asked a lot if she was gay.

Exploring her sexuality: 'I've been asked a lot lately [if I'm gay] and, for me, it's that self-discovery period that I'm going through. Am I sitting here a lesbian? No. Am I sitting here saying, "I'm not a lesbian?" No,' Sophie said on the Shameless podcast

Sophie said while it’s both ‘sad and exciting’ that she’s starting a new journey, she’s adamant Jaryd is her soulmate and will continue to live with him and their children, son Bobby, six, and daughter Florence, two.

‘We’re both very happily single and share our stories over cups of tea and biccies at the end of the night,’ she revealed at the time.

‘He is the most perfect person in the whole world. But right now, we can’t be together.’

The couple, who were teenagers when they met, ended their relationship in early 2019 – but avoided publicly confirming the split until September.

Despite the split, Sophie has documented her relationship with her husband, even gushing about Jaryd’s parenting skills on Father’s Day.

She and Jaryd still love one another, but say their separation is a prime example of ‘two kids who fell in love hard early, and are now two adults who love and respect each other enough to part ways amicably’.
