‘It was horrendous, having someone threaten your life’: Sophie Falkiner reveals she was forced to confront an intruder during a home invasion while her daughter was in the house
Luxury Escapes presenter Sophie Falkiner has recalled a scary incident when she was forced to confront an intruder during a home invasion.
Speaking to Stellar magazine on Sunday, the 45-year-old revealed she had her life threatened by the intruder, while her daughter Isabelle was in the house.
‘It was pretty horrendous, having someone break into your home and threaten your life while your child is there,’ Sophie said.

The blonde TV presenter then said the threat turned her into a ‘lioness’, extremely protective of her children.
‘We got through it. The thought of anything happening to my two children completely makes me a lioness.’
The Channel Ten star has two children with her radio executive ex Tony Thomas: Isabelle, 14, and Jack, 10.

Sophie had an amicable split from Tony in September 2015, following a 14-year marriage together.
The TV star is now seeing businessman Steven Boggiano, who she has been in a relationship with for the past two years.
Ageless Sophie looked radiant as she posed in the magazine, wearing a stunning high-neck white frock while posing next to a fireplace.

A second shot saw the beauty pose in a blue pantsuit, while sitting on a marble-topped set of antique draws.
While notoriously private, the blonde beauty did speak about her motherhood in a column for Nine Honey earlier this year.
She praised open communication with her children.

‘I’ve been a single mum for the past three years,’ she wrote.
‘My daughter tends to be more communicative when it comes to problems at school.
‘With my son sometimes, I think boys find it harder to communicate, which can get a bit frustrating.’

Sophie started her rise to fame on Australian television as a letter turner on Wheel of Fortune, and then graduated to presenting roles.
She has appeared in Sydney Weekender, as well as The Great Outdoors and FOX8’s Confidential following her break on the show.
