Sophie Guidolin’s toddler plays up on live TV on the Morning Show

She’s the super-fit model mum from the Gold Coast who thrives on a challenge – but her biggest yet may turn out to be wrangling her cheeky two-year-old.

Sophie Guidolin, a mum-of-four and celebrated fitness trainer made an appearance on the Morning Show on Wednesday morning to promote her latest book.

Taking a seat on the couch alongside Sophie was her husband Nathan, her sons Kai and Ryder and perched on her knee was her adorable wee girl Evie.

And while everything was in place for a friendly chat with the 30-year-old fitness star, things didn’t quite go to plan.

It was clear from the outset, adorable Evie wasn’t too keen on sitting still, and as Sophie was trying to explain her morning routine, the young girl’s repeated cries of ‘mama’ became louder.

But rather than make to much of a fuss, Sophie decided, with the hosts’ encouragement, it was better to let her go to find her twin sister Aria.

But of course, that’s where the trouble started.

Rather than trot off backstage, Evie started to clamber onto a glass-topped table and but quickly whisked to the side where she could be seen jumping off a small step.

Although she appeared to be out of shot while her brothers were answering questions, it wasn’t long before her little head popup up behind them to ‘photobomb’.

‘Little Evie’s coming back for a photobomb, I knew she’d come back,’ host Kylie Gillies joked.

While for the rest of the five-minute interview there were only fleeting glances of Evie, her exit was truly memorable.

Clambering back upon her mother’s knee to say goodbye and ‘wave to the cameras’ saw the young girl decide to poke her tongue out instead – at the show’s hosts.

‘Thanks guys great to see you, said host Larry Emdur before adding, ‘thanks for bringing the chaos.’

Sophie was on the show to discuss her incredible body transformation after sharing a throwback of herself taken when she was in her teens.

‘I have been in the health and fitness industry for six years now and I often have to really sit back and remember that when I first started I believed that cutting out 100 per cent of my carbohydrates and fats would equal a lean physique,’ she wrote.

Sophie explained there was a time when her diet most consisted of vegetables and lean meats before she realised she was starving her body, which led her to changing the way she ate.

And she revealed that years ago she also believed weights would make her ‘bulky’ and cardio was the only way.

‘I wouldn’t dare look up in the gym or step foot in the weights section in fear of the other members, my body had been through so much (four kids!),’ she said.

‘And I would really need to mentally prepare myself to even have the confidence to walk in.’

When she finally did muster up the courage to walk into a gym, Sophie said she would ‘ freak out’ at the idea of not being able to go on a machine that she knew how to use.

If her preferred machines were all taken she would hide away and do ab crunches until they were free.

Now Sophie said all of the equipment is second nature to her as over time she has become more understanding of the fitness industry and what it entails.

‘Like everything in life, you become more and more comfortable within your industry… so often forget those beginning feelings but every pro was once a beginner,’ she said.
