Seven months after her split from Bachelorette ‘winner’ Stu Laundy, Sophie Monk has revealed she’s off the dating market and has a new boyfriend.
On Friday, the Love Island Australia host, 38, announced she was in a relationship with a ‘normal, down-to-earth and funny’ man she met in business class during a long-haul flight.
Boasting about the mystery hunk on KIIS FM, she told industry pals Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson how her steamy airplane romance began.

‘I’ve been travelling heaps. I was so exhausted. And I sit next to this random in business class,’ she started.
Sophie claimed she knew ‘it was on’ when the man ordered champagne.
‘We had a few champagnes and he was so charming and funny and he had no idea what I did,’ the former Bardot singer said.
‘It was on!’ Sophie said after the mystery hunk ordered Champagne, she knew they would get along and later worked up the courage to kiss him in the dimly-lit cabin

Not wanting to miss an opportunity, Sophie said she bravely asked if she could kiss him and was pleasantly surprised when he was keen to lock lips.
Sophie said they both headed to the bathroom to brush their teeth and then returned to their seats to smooch while the lights were out in the cabin.

The actress said they have spoken consistently since meeting on the plane, but have yet to meet again or have sex.
Despite only having one encounter, Sophie confirmed that she was his official girlfriend and they planned on seeing each other soon.
She told the radio hosts while the hunk lives overseas, she was confident ‘it’s going to work out’.

Since her split from millionaire pub owner Stu Laundy, Sophie was linked to former Married At First Sight star, Ryan Gallagher.
Earlier this year, it was reported that the blonde bombshell was dating the Sydney tradesman, 30, after they were introduced by mutual friend Jackie O.
She denied the claims in June, insisting that while she was speaking to Ryan over the phone, they were not dating in a conventional sense because they were yet to meet in person.
Last year Sophie revealed she had been engaged ‘two-and-a-half times’.
She was first engaged to Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden in 2007, and then to American Billionaire Jimmy Esebag in 2011.
She also revealed a ‘half’ engagement that was purposely kept out of the public eye.
