Back in March, Sophie said on KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show that the pair would consider adopting a child if they struggled to fall pregnant.

She said: ‘If you couldn’t then we would do a different plan but I have frozen heaps of eggs.’

Sophie and Josh confirmed their engagement on January 15, after months of speculation.

The couple first met on a flight from Europe to Australia in August 2018, and shared a kiss after enjoying ‘three champagnes’ in business class.

They grew closer when Joshua helped Sophie recover after endometriosis surgery in November. Around this time, she also began the process of freezing her eggs.

Meanwhile on Thursday, the former Bachelorette confirmed details of the big day in an interview with WHO magazine, and said the nuptials will be ‘low-key’.

‘When it does happen, it’s going to be a very casual, low-key wedding. That might surprise some people, but it’s what we both want,’ she said.

‘We just want it to be about Josh and me. If we have too many guests and it turns into this whole big saga. I’ll just go into full performance mode,’ Monk continued.
