Sophie Turner sports bleach blonde wig while filming outdoor scene for ITV drama Joan

Sophie Turner looked deep in character as she filmed scenes for her upcoming ITV drama series Joan in Herne Bay, Kent.

The actress, 27, appeared worlds away from her usual self as she sported a bleach blonde wig for her role as notorious jewel thief Joan Hannington.

The former Game Of Thrones star was surrounded by co-stars and film crew members as she filmed an outdoor scene at a seaside location.

Sophie donned a stylish maroon jumpsuit and cinched her waist with a matching belt for the scene.

The TV star added height to her frame with a pair of white heels and wrapped up with a matching blazer.

Also wearing a gold necklace, Sophie completed her character’s look with a biege handbag.

Sophie was joined by a child actress during the shoot who is likely playing Joan’s real-life daughter Debbie.

The star put on an animated display as she picked the young girl up in her arms and gave her a warm hug.

‘Joan married professional bad boy Boisie Hannington, and embarked on a journey to become one of Britain’s most successful diamond thieves,’ it reads.

‘Literally millions of pounds passed through their hands and Joan and Boisie became members of the criminal elite, but tragedy was soon to strike at the heart of their outrageous lifestyle.

‘In turns funny, shocking and violent, this is a remarkable raw debut from a true survivor.’
