South Australia mother missing after she vanished from her home

  • Eleni Margaritis, 31, has disappeared from her South Australian home

A young mother-of-three has completely vanished from her hometown in South Australia. 

Eleni Margaritis was last seen visiting friends at their Dudley Park home on Wednesday. 

The 31-year-old was living in Greenacre with her husband and three children, all under the age of ten, when she went missing.

South Australian Police said the length of time is unusual for a person to go missing.   

‘Typically a missing person inquiries tend to resolve themselves in the first few days, but that hasn’t been the case here and we have been unable to locate her after April 25,’  Chief Inspector Adam Rice told the Advertiser. 

The officer in charge said they have contacted a number of ‘associates’ in the Dudley Park area to find her whereabouts.

‘We have contacted a number of those associates and those investigations are ongoing, but we don’t have anyone who has seen her since the 25,’Inspector Adam Rice said. 

Ms Margaritis is Caucasian, 150cm tall, of medium build, with a fair complexion and long dark hair. She is also known to wear hoop earrings.

The mother was last seen driving a blue 1996 Holden VS Commodore sedan, registration S866BUK.

Her family and police have plead for information about her whereabouts on Friday evening when it hit 48 hours since she went missing.
