A car owner trying to sell his 27-year-old Nissan has taken a rather different approach to advertising.

The South Australian man took to Marketplace on Facebook to sell his 1992 Nissan 300ZX.  

His post was accompanied with shirtless pictures showing off the vehicle.

In one image he is seen at the passenger side leaning against the car with his arms open along the car.

In another image he is sitting on the hood of the car and poses like a model. 

Showing off the rear of the car, the man has one foot on the bumper with his hands behind his back on the spoiler.

The images were also shared to Twitter with the user captioning it with: ‘Love the confidence’.

One user asked whether the man comes with the car and the Twitter user replied, ‘at that rate you’d hope so’.   

The seller has made sure to inform potential buyers that the car does not come with the man.

‘EDIT: The beautiful man does not come with the car,’ he wrote.     

The car is being sold for $7,200.
