Two men stabbed at a busy train station in front of horrified onlookers – as a man is taken into custody

Police have taken a man into custody after two men were stabbed outside a busy city train station.

The two men were reportedly attacked outside South Bank train station, in central Brisbane, late Wednesday afternoon.

One of the victims, understood to be a security guard at a nearby grocer aged in his 30s, was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital with abdomen injures, Nine News reports.

He is in a serious but stable condition.

The alleged knifeman reportedly fled up a nearby escalator following the first attack and slashed another man’s arm.

Police have established two crime scenes at the station and have taken a man into custody who is assisting with inquiries.
