Spencer Pratt films Heidi Montag during her hours of labor

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt welcomed their first child earlier this month and have shared details about their son’s birth in an exclusive interview with DailyMailTV.

Gunner Stone was born on October 1 to the beaming reality stars, surrounded by $27,000 worth of crystals.

Pratt, 34, captured his 31-year-old wife enduring five hours of grueling labor, including a bedside makeup session, while she had a natural birth in a Los Angeles hospital.

Now just days after their baby’s birth, the couple has told DailyMailTV about their new life as parents and their plans for little Gunner.

‘My heart feels like it’s gonna explode every day, just being with him. Not much sleep,’ Heidi gushed.

When asked about how they came up with their son’s name, she said: ‘Before Spencer agreed to have kids, I had a baby name list, and Gunner was one of my top names that I had.’

‘Then Stone, obviously, we love crystals, and they delivered like 30 grand in like the most unreal crystals that they just got from the gem show in Denver, that nobody’s energy was on,’ Spencer added.

The new father captured his wife’s birth on video, where Heidi is seen moaning and writhing in pain, and even having her makeup done while having contractions.

‘I just wanted to be camera ready,’ she told DailyMailTV.

Spencer is heard complimenting his wife’s makeup and teasing her while she gets her lipstick applied in bed.

Heidi, who went without an epidural, is seen pacing around her room wearing a hospital gown and taking oxygen from a mask on her bed as Spencer cheers her on.

‘No epidural! Heidi’s a gangster! All natural!’ he’s heard saying as his wife moans.

‘It was probably the best possible labor. I wanted to do it naturally so I didn’t get an epidural,’ Heidi said.

Spencer admitted that he didn’t know exactly what to expect when witnessing a birth, saying: ‘I will be honest, once she started moaning loudly, I was like, “This is way gnarlier than anything I am mentally prepared for.”

He stayed right by her side for most of the birth, but revealed he left right she went into labor to pick up food for Heidi who was ‘hungry.’

The reality star, known for his rambunctious flair, also managed to fit thousands of dollars worth of stones into the delivery room, just in time for Gunner’s arrival.

‘He had Crystalarium bring in $27,000 worth of crystals. So literally as my contractions are going, he’s running in, putting these huge crystals all over. It was mayhem!’ Heidi said.

Although he was in the delivery room, Spencer confessed he did not watch the whole birth nor did he cut the umbilical cord.

And despite the hours of intensive labor, Heidi was ready to do it all over again, he said.

‘In the moment you said, “I wanna do this again! I can have another! One minute after this baby came out,’ Spencer said.

The couple was warned that Heidi could have Gunner earlier than expected, as in mid September she was already beginning to dilate – a sign that the body is readying for labor

‘I keep telling Spencer I wanna be like Speidi plus ten,’ Heidi said, referencing to reality show Jon and Kate Plus Eight.

‘I think we should have 10 kids,’ she told Spencer.

The couple was warned that Heidi could have Gunner earlier than expected, as in mid September she was already beginning to dilate.

At the time, the mother-to-be was two weeks from full term and five weeks from her due date, and the couple was shocked at the news.

The former Hills star took to her Instagram page to reveal the unexpected devolpment, remarking: ‘Well this doctor visit was a little different to what I thought.

‘I’m about 1cm dilated and we’re just hoping he doesn’t come too early.’

When asked if the newborn will follow in the footsteps of his reality star parents, Spencer reassured it was a possibility, already securing the infant’s Instagram and Twitter account handles.

He also revealed his plans to train their son to become a baseball star, saying  ‘his athleticism is our main priority.’

Spencer said that he hoped his son’s birth would nab the front cover of a tabloid magazine, and he got his wish when the growing family appeared on USWeekly.

Heidi gushed to the outlet: ‘I’m feeling great. I’m so overwhelmed with joy. I find myself crying just looking at him.’

Gunner is pictured wrapped in a pale blue blanket as mom and dad held him for the cover shot. It’s the first child for the reality TV stars who wed in Mexico in 2008.

They also said that they have been trying to have a child for a decade.

Heidi previously said she hoped their first child would be a boy because she felt it would be a ‘more natural bond’ for her husband.

Speaking to USWeekly in May, she said: ‘It was in my heart to have a boy. I thought Spencer really used to want a boy, and then a few months ago we had a conversation where he said, “Let’s just make sure it’s healthy. Boy or girl, I don’t care”.

‘I hope to have a little girl one day, but for my first child, I really wanted a son. I’m hoping to God that we don’t just have one, but if we do, I wanted a son. I thought it’d be a more natural bond for Spencer since he and his dad are so close.

‘He was really excited! He trains jujitsu all the time, so he’s excited to have a little grappler. He’ll be doing jujitsu and soccer with him.’
