A worldwide tour is no longer on the cards for the Spice Girls after the Geri Horner and Mel B lesbian fling bombshell.
The Mail On Sunday has revealed that plans were being drawn up to stage a series of lucrative concerts before Mel B let the lesbian fling bombshell drop.
Geri, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton were said to be lining up gigs in America, Australia and the Far East for when their whistle stop UK tour ends on June 15.

Sources shared with The Mail On Sunday that at one ‘dramatic’ turning point the four-piece nearly pulled the plug on the 13-date tour entirely.
An insider told The Mail On Sunday: ‘It has been a hugely dramatic week. At one point last Sunday, the tour wasn’t happening.
‘They agreed that they had to do the British dates because they are under contract and they don’t want to let their fans down, but there won’t be any more.
‘There had been plans to keep it going but no more.’

It comes as Mel C and Emma Bunton have been reportedly acting as peacemakers between Mel B and Geri Halliwell following their lesbian bombshell fallout.
According to Grazia, it has been revealed that the two are trying to smooth things over between their bandmates but are ‘prepared for more epic rows’ during their upcoming Spice Girls tour rehearsals.
And after recent reports that Scary Spice has been left ‘perplexed’ by Ginger Spice’s denial about their sexual history, it is also claimed that the pair can’t even be in the same room at the moment.

The publication claims that Sporty Spice and Baby Spice are trying to salvage the upcoming tour for the sake of their die-hard fans.
It has been revealed: ‘The gigs are going ahead no matter what, but all the girls are prepared for more epic rows.
‘At the moment Geri doesn’t even want to be in the same room as Mel B. There’s no way more worldwide dates will be added.’

This comes after reports that Mel is not happy about being ‘made to look like a liar’ after her old band mate released a statement calling rumours of their romp ‘simply not true’.

With ‘bad blood simmering,’ insiders also suggest that women are ‘dreading’ rehearsals for the Spice Girls’ 2019 reunion tour, which commence later this month.
‘Mel is totally perplexed by Geri’s denials,’ a source told The Mirror on Monday night. ‘Mel feels Geri is making her out to be a liar. She said, “It’s almost as if she is trying to erase our history.”‘

Insisting that she loved all four of her bandmates, Geri said she ‘couldn’t wait’ to reunite with them – even posting a video of her practising the old dance routines at home while she prepares for their stage return, on Monday.
Her statement said: ‘It has been very disappointing to read about all these rumours again, especially on Mother’s Day of all days.
‘Geri loves the Spice Girls: Emma [Bunton], Melanie [Brown], Melanie [Chisholm] and Victoria [Beckham]. She would like [the fans] to know that what has been reported recently is simply not true and has been very hurtful to her family.
‘Moving forward, Geri can’t wait to see the girls and all the fans on the tour, have an amazing time with everyone, and make some new memories.’

The statement seemed to be in direct response to fresh claims that Geri and Mel’s secret liaison was not a ‘one-time’ thing.
Sources told The Mail on Sunday it was a case of ‘lust at first sight’ when the two singers met for the first time in 1994, aged 18 and 21, and their tryst last for a year.
One friend recalled: ‘It was in the very early days of the Spice Girls and their relationship lasted far longer than one night – it was at least 12 months.’
Speaking on Australia’s 2Day 104.1 radio show, the songstress insisted their alleged night of passion was ‘not a big deal’ and pushed the fact that she was yet to divulge details of their steamy moment, which occured in their heyday.

She hit back at the claims as she detailed: ‘All five of us [slept in a bed together], we were on tour, we had all of our own hotel rooms booked but we all ended up bunking in together. That’s what girls do…
‘We’d order room service, watch movies and just hang out together. We work so hard so any down time we had, which was minimal, we wanted to spend every moment together…
‘It wasn’t like a big deal, we’ve known each other 20 plus years, it was just one thing that happened one night. I didn’t go into detail about it, at all… It was a little thing and we giggled about it the next day, that’s that. It’s not a big deal, especially not in this day and age.’

Mel first made the shock confession about their sexual history during filming for Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, and after the racy admission hit the headlines, Piers shared a clip of the moment on Good Morning Britain.
Mel C was seen looking shocked in the audience as Mel confessed she had once bedded her bandmate.
Piers was seen asking Mel: ‘You were coming here to be brutally honest – did or didn’t you sleep with Geri Halliwell? Did you sleep with her?’
Looking bashful, Mel first tried to dodge the question, telling Piers: ‘Yeah. We all slept in a bed together, but not like that, all of us.’

‘I don’t know anything, this is all new to me!’ insists Mel C.
Piers confirmed that Mel quickly made a phone call to Geri after filming wrapped to explain the confession, with the TV host explaining: ‘There was a lot of flurried activity after the recording. I said ”Where’s Mel?” They said: “She’s just making a call to try and smooth things over.”‘
