The socialist congresswoman spent her birthday in Denmark on Sunday after attending the C40 World Mayors Summit.
She took to Twitter to thank those who had wished her a happy birthday, saying she was enjoying the ‘social democracy’ in the Scandinavian country.
‘Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes!’ the New York representative tweeted alongside a video of her walking across a pond.

Among those to acknowledge AOC’s birthday were her fellow congresswomen and members of the so-called ‘squad’.
Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley tweeted several photos of her with AOC in congress with a lengthy message saying she was grateful she was born.
‘So grateful you were born sister. Inspired by your truth telling, justice seeking, and love for the NY 14th,’ she wrote.
‘Fortunate to learn with you, laugh with you, pray with you, work with you. Wishing you a wonderful day filled with love & Riley get our girl that puppy already.’
Michigan’s Rashida Tlaib also shared a photo of the pair together with the hastag #HappyBirthdayAOC.
