The Last Jedi’s working title was Space Bear and Rogue One’s working title was Los Alamos.
VIII: Star Wars: The Last Jedi just pulled in $450M this weekend internationally but Disney and LucasFilms are already looking to the next installment
This will be the final sequel in the trilogy that began with The Force Awakens and continued with The Last Jedi.
It is believed that the film will come out in 2019.
And it will star some vets such as Daisy Ridley as Rey, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren / Ben Solo, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, John Boyega as Finn and Lupita Nyong’o as Maz.
Still in charge: Carrie Fisher as Leia led the Resistance against the First Order in The Last Jedi
A difficult path: Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker had his demons over Kylo Ren
There could also be special appearances by the ghosts of Yoda and Anakin Skywalker, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
JJ’s co-writers are Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly.
According to Fantha Tracks, the production company for Episode IX is Carbonado Industries (UK) Ltd.
A carbonado is the toughest form of natural diamond, commonly known as a Black Diamond.
It’s too early to tell whether or not Episode IX‘s working title bears any significance.
