The victim was sitting inside doing work on his computer when one person grabbed his laptop and ran to a car waiting outside.

It is not certain if there was a driver waiting in the car, KTVU reported.

Witnesses said the victim reached for the door handle, which resulted in him slamming his head into a parked car.

Cops claimed the man was found injured on the roadway in the 6100 block of Antioch Street, which was near the Starbucks’ location.

The car then sped off, according to bystanders who saw the encounter as they stood outside.

‘He was bleeding only from the head. His face was purple and blue,’ Maria Chan, a florist shop owner across the street, told KTVU.
