A Woolworths shopping trolley has been cable-tied to the driver-side door of a furious shopper’s car.
The woman shared a photo of the scene, which took place at a community car park in Ararat in Victoria’s south west, to a Facebook group.
But she was soon met with a barrage of insults, saying she must have been parked badly to provoke whoever tied a trolley to her car.
Alongside the photo, the woman wrote: ‘If anyone has seen someone at Safeway car park in Ararat cable tie a trolley to my car, inbox me details. Happened 15-20 minutes ago, p***ed off is not the word for it!’ she wrote.

Many Aussies questioned why the woman’s car was cable-tied in the first place, with some believing it was due to her ‘bad’ parking.
‘Maybe they shouldn’t have parked like a d*ck and someone wouldn’t feel the need to do this,’ said one.
‘First, you probably took up 1.5 spaces and stopped someone else from being able to park there. And lastly, if you’re at Woolies anyway, just walk back in and buy a knife or scissors and cut the cable ties off,’ wrote another.
Another said: ‘The only time I see this is when people park incorrectly. Although, mind you, who in their right mind carries zip cables with them?’
‘The right hand headlight is pointing at someone else’s number plate, must’ve been one hell of an attempt to park…’ another commented.
