- Strange footage shows wood-like herb travelling against flow of water
- Stick of wood is snake-like in appearance, most likely found in the Himalayas
- Ironically, the wood is used for medicinal purposes on snake bites
Unusual footage shows a herb that has the appearance of a snake climbing up a stream of water.
The wood-like garuda herb, which ironically is used to cure snake bites, can only be found in India and appears to defy the laws of gravity.
The clip shows the dried stick-like herb being placed in a bucket. Water from a mug is then poured into the bucket and the wood starts travelling against the flow of the water.
In the next frame, it is then put into a stream of water flowing through a narrow canal and it can be seen that the wood travels like a snake against the flow of the water in the canal, like a living snake.
An ayurvedic expert who knows the medicinal property of the wood said, ‘This is a strange and unusual herb. It always travels against the water which is exceptional. This wood is an exceptional medicine to any deadly snake bites.’
