Back in 2016, the streaming giant reported that Stranger Things had stolen the hearts of viewers only by the second episode, with 70% of them moving on to finish the entire season.

As for the prospect of a Stranger Things 4, it seems that a revival is already in the works.

Executive producer Shawn Levy revealed in an interview with Collider that a fourth season is ‘definitely happening.’

But the universe might not expand much further beyond that, as creators Matt and Ross Duffer have said that they’ve always seen the show as something of ‘a four-season thing and then out,’ as they told Collider.

‘I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year,’ Matt said.

All eight episodes of Stranger Things 3 are now available on Netflix.
