A man in a wheelchair had a very close call when his chair was stuck to train tracks in Kirkwood, Missouri.

A pair of siblings, Julie Flanders and Chandler Tourigny, rushed to the man and his wife and freed him seconds before a train came barreling through.

Video captures the aftermath where the siblings free the chair from the tracks.

Flanders said they were stopped in their car when they saw a woman sprinting towards the tracks.

Flanders and her brother leaped out of the car and rushed to help.

They were able to save the man just seconds before the train arrived.

‘It all happened [in] seconds,’ Flanders said to Fox News. ‘I was like, oh my gosh, are they going to make it? Are they not going to make it?’

Their mother captured the footage.

However, the siblings say the first woman, whose name is unknown, deserves the credit for the rescue.

‘I want to applaud her, too, for being selfless,’ Flanders said. ‘She definitely noticed and she went and helped somebody she didn’t even know.’

First responders have not released details of the incident, but say the man was checked by paramedics and is okay.
