Stray dog amuses commuters as he tries to walk the WRONG WAY down an escalator at a metro station

This is the adorable moment poor pooch gets confused as he tried to walk the wrong way down an escalator.

Footage shows the dog getting nowhere fast as confused onlookers pass him and giggle.

The stray had wandered into the first floor of a metro station in Bangkok, Thailand, before attempting to negotiate the moving stairs.

The golden pooch wags its tail and marches on, oblivious as to why he’s not moving forward.

Passing shoppers looked on as the dog kept walking forwards before he eventually rolled backwards.

Luckily for the unnamed stray, someone eventually pushed 

Nong Jinny, who recorded the animal on April 3, said: ‘I thought it was funny at the time. I think it was the dog’s first time using an escalator.

‘People scolded me for not helping the dog. 

‘But after I stopped filming I pressed the emergency stop button so he could walk down and onto the street.’

He keeps walking forward, stuck and not moving anywhere

Eventually, someone pulled the emergency stop and let the dog go
