Strictly Come Dancing 2018 lineup rumors

Put on your dancing shoes, folks, because it’s time for an all new season of Strictly Come Dancing.

Almost, anyway. The show generally returns to BBC One in autumn, but fans are already speculating about what’s to come in the 2018 season of Strictly Come Dancing.

Last year’s season was won by Holby City actor Joe McFadden, who was partnered with professional dancer Katya Jones. Debbie McGee and X Factor star Alexandra Burke were not far behind the duo.

Strictly Come Dancing won’t be back on for a while, but fans are dying to know who’ll be cast

The network has yet to confirm anything about the 2018 season of Strictly Come Dancing, but sources are talking and fans are excited.

So what’s the scoop on Strictly Come Dancing Season 15?

When is Strictly Come Dancing 2018 on?

Strictly Come Dancing will likely return for season 15 in September, as it has in the past. It will run until December or so.

Strictly Come Dancing 2018 judges

Strictly Come Dancing has been judged by Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli, Arlene Phillips, Alesha Dixon, Darcey Bussell and Shirley Ballas in the past. In May 2017, the network confirmed Len would not appear on Season 15. He was replaced by Shirley.

Len and Bruno both appear as judges on the American equivalent of Strictly Come Dancing, titled Dancing With the Stars.

No announcement has been made about the judging panel for Strictly Come Dancing Season 16, but viewers should anticipate the return of the usual suspects.

Strictly Comes Dancing 2018 cast

Rumors have been swirling about who will appear on Strictly Come Dancing Season 16, set to air later in 2018. Those currently being buzzed about include Michelle Keegan, Mark Labbett, Cheryl, Nadiya Hussain and more.

Michelle, who appeared on Coronation Street, is rumored to be signing a major deal with BBC for her participation in Strictly come Dancing, according to The Daily Star.

‘Everyone knows that having Michelle Keegan on the Strictly dance floor would be ratings gold,’ a source told the outlet.

‘It’s now a matter of convincing her to sign up.’

Mark, known for appearing on The Chase, has also been highly favored to appear on Season 16 of Strictly Come Dancing. Betting odds from Coral give him 2/1 odds of joining the cast.

Former X Factor judge Cheryl may also be considering making her foray into the ballroom in Season 16 of Strictly Come Dancing. Coral betting odds have her at an 8/1 chance of appearing. Cheryl has dance experience, which may be a cause of contention among other people on the cast if she agrees to do the show.

Great British Bake Off winner and Netflix’s Big Family Cooking Showdown host Nadiya Hussain is also rumored to be hitting the ballroom in season 16 along with TOWIE star Gemma Collins.

None of the aforementioned celebrities has weighed in on casting rumors at this point.
