Stu Laundy reveals Sophie STILL hasn’t met his children

After months of speculation, Stu Laundy was finally declared the winner of The Bachelorette. 

But in an exclusive chat with Daily Mail Australia the 44-year-old revealed Sophie Monk still has not met his four children. 

‘Sophie has not yet met the kids,’ the father-of-four admitted. 

Stu is estranged from wife, Rachel and they share the four children together – who he has has on alternate weekends.

He admitted that he did not think he would find love again after the acrimonious split with Rachel but with Sophie he has. 

‘I loved my ex wife and will always have that love. I started to doubt I’d find that again but I have,’ Stu said. 

The publican, who famously has been labelled a playboy in the past for his hard partying past was reported to have split with Sophie soon after show.

According to Private Sydney, sources close to the pub tycoon claimed he wasted no time in placing himself back on the singles market after the pair ‘split’. 

However, Stu was quick to dispel rumours confirming that the couple were ‘still together and very happy. 

‘I am madly in love,’ he confirmed to Daily Mail Australia.

He also revealed that he’s even thinking about having more children with the blonde bombshell. 

‘We’ve talked about having kids at some point’,’ Stu added. 

Speaking to newscorp this week, Sophie revealed that she was also looking into IVF treatment in a bid to conceive.

Despite the show’s finale, which aired on Thursday, being filmed two months ago, Sophie added that she and Stu had barely spent any time together since declaring their true feelings.

‘We’ve only seen each other a couple of times, that’s it,’ Sophie said. ‘And that’s hard for two adults – it feels like you’re in high school.’

In a recent episode, Stu sent Sophie reeling when he confessed that he had a vasectomy.

 A clearly sheepish Stu struggled with the admission before blurting out: ‘Don’t you get what I’m saying? I’ve had a vasectomy.’

Clearly taken aback, Sophie was left without words, only able to mouth ‘s**t’ to camera.

‘I can’t believe he’s had a vasectomy,’ Sophie said at the time.

‘He knows I want children. I’m really, really confused now with Stu ’cause I want a future that lasts forever. I want to settle down and have a family. But now it’s getting very complicated. That’s massive.’

Beaming with joy, the millionaire pub owner looked relieved and excited as Sophie declared him as ‘the one’ in very dramatic scenes – shortly after she had dumped sobbing runner-up Jarrod Woodgate.

Standing on a secluded island in idyllic Fiji, an emotional Sophie declared her love for Stu, saying: ‘You said loving me was the best thing you’ve done in a while. I don’t think anyone’s ever said that to me. So I have two really important things to tell you,’

She continued: ”The first thing is I’m so sorry I misjudged you when I first met you. And the second thing is I’m in love with you.’

 Bested hopeful Jarrod Woodgate was left crestfallen after learning that Sophie had fallen for Stu.

Trying to let him down gently, Sophie said: ”Jarrod, I entered The Bachelorette because I wanted to meet the man that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

 ‘Like, I genuinely, like, wanted someone that was there for me and had my back. And as soon as I met you, you came out and you intrigued me.’

As she continued, tears began to well in Sophie’s eyes as she dashed Jarrod’s hopes with: ”In my head, I know you’re everything, but my heart belongs to someone else,’ she said. ‘I’m so sorry.’

Gratitude: ‘You’ve just helped me become a better person in this whole journey, and I thank you for that’

A clearly heartbroken Jarrod tried to remain stoic, thanking Sophie for their time together.

‘It’s alright, every moment we had together, all the memories and the journey that we’ve done an no regrets whatsoever in any of this. You’ve just helped me become a better person in this whole journey, and I thank you for that.’

‘In a piece to camera, Jarrod revealed: ‘Yeah, it hurts. The love that I have for Sophie, she’s the perfect girl. She was the girl I wanted to grow old with, have a family.’

He added: ‘Just not now. Like, I’ll still always love Sophie. Like, that’s not gonna change. And yeah, it’s painful. I’m gonna miss Sophie.’
