A Welsh student is proving to be the answer to everyone’s fashion prayers after building an Instagram account dedicated to tracking down celebrity outfits.

Laura Rider, 21, from Rhyl – or @theoutfitfinder as she is known on the social media platform – specialises in scouring the internet for the much sought-after clothes worn by famous faces.

Alongside studying for a degree in media, culture and communications, Laura provides her 93.5k followers with information on the latest celeb looks.

She is now affiliated with brands including Boohoo, Topshop and Asos, and receives at least 100 messages a day from people asking her to track down specific ensembles.

Laura first set up her business Instagram account in 2017 to find Love Island must-haves.

Speaking to North Wales Live, Laura said: ‘It all started when I was watching Love Island in 2017, and I really liked some of the girls’ outfits

‘So I started searching the internet trying to find them and when I did, I posted about it on Instagram.

‘I’ve spent a lot of time shopping online myself and I realised as soon as I’d seen an outfit I liked, I was quick at finding out where it was from.

‘I started helping my friends find the clothes that they liked from the show, and that’s how it all took off because there was nothing like this out there at the time.’

Fans send her a direct message telling her what they are looking for and Laura, who doesn’t charge for her services, will search online for the exact match, or something similar.

Laura, who plans to do something that mixes media with the fashion industry when she graduates, added: ‘When a popular show comes on such as Love Island or I’m a Celebrity, I get lots of people contacting me asking me to track down outfits.

‘I must get at least 100 messages a day. I’ve searched for all sorts of clothing, accessories and jewellery.

‘It’s great being able to help people and I get some lovely messages from girls thanking me, which makes it all worthwhile.’
