Students are sharing the hilarious updates from their online classes

Who said school isn’t fun? Quarantined students share hilarious updates from their online classes – from classmates doing face masks to teachers bringing their PETS into lessons

  • Schools across the US have closed for the foreseeable future
  • While some parents homeschool, many teacher and college professors are running online classes with platforms like Zoom
  • The platforms allow the whole class to chat and join via video
  • Students are behaving strangely in the informal setting, doing things they’d never do in a classroom
  • Some teachers are embracing the strange times and having fun, like by introducing their pets to the class
  • Coronavirus symptoms: what are they and should you see a doctor?

As schools across the US close for the foreseeable future in light of the coronavirus pandemic, many classes are moving online, with K-12 teachers and college professors inviting their students to use online video conferencing technology like Zoom to join lessons.

But if real-life classrooms have rules and structure, much of that is going out the window as students learn from home.

With children, teens, and their educators meeting virtually, there are many students turning up to ‘class’ in pajamas or other unusual outfits, while things they’d normally never do in a classroom setting are becoming the norm — like wearing face masks, brushing teeth, and eating food.

In other cases, teachers are embracing the informal setting, bringing their pets on screen and cracking jokes to lighten the mood.

Dozens have been sharing their funny class outtakes on social media ad people try to make the best of these uncertain times.
