Stunned British student sat ALONE on BA flight from London to Orlando (and even then he didn’t get an upgrade to First Class)

  • Kai Forsyth claims he was the only passenger on a flight from London to Orlando
  • Mr Forsyth, a student athlete in the U.S., says he wasn’t upgraded to first class
  • But he was able to fashion a bed out of empty seats and got ‘unlimited food’

A college student returning for a new semester claims he was the only ticketed passenger on an eight-hour flight from London to Orlando, Florida.

Kai Forsyth, who is from Derby but studies in the U.S., was on his way back to the Sunshine State when he said he realised he was the only ticketed traveller on the plane – although he wasn’t upgraded to first class.

In a series of TikTok clips, the first posted on January 10, Mr Forsyth filmed his experience which has since received more than three million views on the app.

In the videos Mr Forsyth pans over the empty cabin and shows off a ‘bed’ he fashioned for himself from four empty seats.

He also captured a full box of Walkers biscuits, writing in the clip the clip that ‘they literally gave me all the snacks and unlimited food’.

Mr Forsyth also filmed a flight attendant who he says he decide to ‘make friends with’, captioning in the video: ‘We sat and watched movies for hours and ate unlimited snacks.’

The student told Fox News Digital that his flight took place on January 9 and that ‘there weren’t many people in the airport’ when he got to the gate.

He said: ‘I actually sat down and there was nobody [there at the gate] and I was just staring at the receptionist there.

‘We were just looking back and forth at each other for like a good 10 minutes, and then they said, “Well, we’re ready to board.”‘

Mr Forsyth said he initially thought he was being set up for ‘one of those garbage reality TV shows’.

‘There were more pilots than there were passengers,’ he added.

According to the student athlete, the plane took off five minutes after he boarded the flight.

Mr Forsyth added he also got to speak with one of the pilots and was given ‘everything he asked for’ by the flight attendants.

‘If I could travel like that again, I would,’ he said.

His TikTok videos are filled with hundreds of comments, mostly stunned that the student wasn’t upgraded to first class.

One user said: ‘And they didn’t even give you a first class seat.’

Another added: ‘No upgrade to business?’

‘AND THEY COULDNT HAVE UPGRADED YOU?!’, a comment read.

A spokesperson for British Airways said there were other passengers on the flight, but it is unclear where they were sat, according to Fox News.
